Don’t miss the next ALADFI Sainte-Cécile 2026, which will take place in Carry-le-Rouet (Marseille) from 27 to 29 November, featuring lectures and a wonderful exhibition on the following theme:
A history of the violin along the Paris–Brussels–Amsterdam axis between 1650 and 1720.
Some fascinating instruments from these three major and historic European violin-making schools have been loaned to us for the occasion by musicians and colleagues, and selected for their quality by our scientific committee. We will be able to examine them at our convenience under optimal conditions.
Please find attached the programme featuring valuable presentations by leading specialists in these fields, whom we are delighted to welcome for this Saint Cecilia celebration:
Anne-Emmanuelle Ceulemans, Manon Fauconnier, Jan Strick, Serge Stam, Hubert Delaunay, Marc Rosenstiel and Pierre Flavetta
This weekend will also be an opportunity to meet colleagues from across Europe (don’t worry, translations will be provided!) and to relax during drinks receptions, concerts and walks along the seafront.
Registration are now open ! Be sure to book quickly as places are limited, and to take advantage of the fantastic rates we’ve negotiated for early bookings.
